The authors establish properties of the beta function involving the hypergeometric function. They relate these beta functions and probability density function. Some basic functions are obtained, associated with this density function, namely the \(k\)th moment, moment generating function, the hazard rate function, and the mean residue life function. Graphs are given for the probability function, hazard rate function and mean residue life function.
