In his previous paper: ``Fibre integral in regular Lie algebroids'' [New Developments in Differential Geometry, Kluwer Publishers, Dordrecht, 173--202 (1999; Zbl 0959.58026)], the author defined and investigated the operator \(\not\mkern-7mu\int_A: \Omega^*_A(M)\to \Omega^{*-n}(M)\), for a vertically oriented transitive Lie algebroid \((A,\varepsilon)\), \(A\) being a \(g\)-Lie algebroid over a manifold \(M\) and \(\varepsilon\) being a non-singular cross-section \(\varepsilon\) of \(\bigwedge^n g\) (\(n=\text{rang\,}g\)). Namely: \(\not\mkern-7mu\int_A \Phi= 0\) if \(\deg\Phi< n\), \(\gamma^*(\not\mkern-7mu\int_A\Phi)= (-1)^{nk}i_\varepsilon\Phi\) if \(\deg\Phi= n+ k\), \(k\geq 0\) and \(\not\mkern-7mu\int_A= \text{id}_{\Omega(M)}\) if \(n= 0\). Suggested by Fubini's formula for an oriented bundle and by using the operator \(\not\mkern-7mu\int_A\), the author defines in the present work the integration of forms of maximal degree. A special interest presents the case of Lie algebroids, called TUIO-Lie algebroids, which satisfies the following two properties: -- the isotropy Lie algebras \(g|_x\), are unimodular, and -- the cross-section \(\varepsilon\) is invariant with respect to the adjoint representation of \(A\) on \(\bigwedge^n g\). In this case, \(\not\mkern-7mu\int_A\) commutes with exterior derivatives \(d_A\) and \(d_M\) such that if \(M\) is an oriented manifold, \(\not\mkern-7mu\int_A\) enables to define Poincaré's type scalar product. The fundamental properties of this product are investigated. The main result is the following: The Poincaré homomorphism \({\mathcal D}_A: H_A(M)\to (H_{A,c}(M))^*\) for a TUIO-Lie algebroid \((A,\varepsilon)\) over an oriented manifold \(M\) is an isomorphism. Interpretations of this Poincaré duality theorem for some \(G\)-principal bundles and \(TC\)-foliations (which determine TUIO-Lie algebroids) are given. Also, some applications to TUIO-Lie algebroids on nonoriented manifolds or on compact manifolds are obtained. Finally, the notion of Betti numbers, the Euler-Poincaré characteristic and the signature of a TUIO-Lie algebroids are introduced.
