The paper under review deals with the study of some properties of the zero sets of harmonic and real analytic functions in \(\mathbb{R}^n\). The authors introduce several notions of real analyticity and harmonicity for functions defined on subsets of \(\mathbb{R}^n\). In particular, they say that a function \(f\) defined on a set \(E\) of \(\mathbb{R}^n\) is \textit{real analytic (respectively harmonic) at a point \(x\in E\)} if it is the restriction of a function which is real analytic (respectively harmonic) on a neighbourhood of \(x\). Among several results on properties of real analytic and harmonic functions, they show, for example, that if \(V\) is a finely open set, a function is real analytic (respectively harmonic) on an open neighbourhood of \(V\) if and only if it is analytic (respectively harmonic) at each point of \(V\). Moreover, they show that the zero set of a non-constant real analytic function on a domain has always empty fine interior.
