Let \(X\) be a compact Kähler manifold with a polarisation \(L \to X\) and say that \((X, L)\) is in the class \((\mathbf{S}_0)\) (respectively, \((\mathbf{S}_+)\) or \((\mathbf{S}_-)\)) if \(X\) is a Calabi-Yau manifold and \(L\) is a general polarisation (resp. \(X\) is a compact Kähler manifold and \(L = \pm K_X\) is the canonical or anti-canonical bundle). Let also denote by \(\mathcal H(L)\) the space of their smooth weights on \(L\) (i.e., the functions \(\phi\) that determine smooth metrics \(h\) on \(L\) by \(h = e^{-\phi}\)) with strictly positive curvatures. For a fixed smooth map \(\mu: \mathcal H(L) \to \{\text{Volume Forms}\}\) and an element \(\phi_o \in \mathcal H(L)\), the \textit{Bergman iteration originated by \(\phi_o\)} is the double sequence \(\phi^{(m)}_k \) in \(\mathcal H(L)\) defined as follows: For any fixed integer \(k\) and any given Hermitian metric \(\widehat h\) on \(H^0(X, kL)\), let \(N_k = \dim H^0(X, k L)\) and denote by \((s^{(\widehat h)}_i)\) a \(\widehat h\)-orthonormal basis for \(H^0(X, kL)\). Then, set \[ \mathcal T_k: \mathcal H(L) \to \mathcal H(L) \ ,\quad \mathcal T_k(\phi) := \frac{1}{k} \log\left(\frac{1}{N_k} \sum_{i =1}^{N_k} \|s_i^{\widehat h_\phi}\|^2_{\widehat h_\phi}\right) \] where \(\widehat h_\phi\) is the Hermitian form on \(H^0(X, kL)\) defined by \(\|s\|^2_{\widehat h^\phi} := \int_X |s|^2 e^{-k \phi} \mu(\phi)\). The Bergman iteration originated by \(\phi_o\) is the double sequence \[ \phi^{(m)}_k := (\mathcal T_k)^m(\phi_o) . \] In [Anal. PDE 6, No. 1, 131--180 (2013; Zbl 1282.14069)], \textit{R. J. Berman} proved that if \((X,L)\) is in \((\mathbf{S}_0)\) or in one of the two classes \((\mathbf{S}_\pm)\), then for any sequence \(m_k\) of non-negative integers such that \(\lim_{k \to \infty} m_k/k = t\) for some \(t \geq 0\), the corresponding sequence \(\phi^{(m_k)}_k\) in the Bergman iteration of \(\phi_o\) converges in the \(\mathcal C^0\)-topology to the weight \(\phi_t\) of the one-parameter family \(\{\phi_s\}_{s \geq 0}\) that gives the Kähler Ricci flow starting from \(\phi_{t = 0} = \phi_o\). In this paper, the author proves that such convergence actually holds in the smooth topology.
