The Anderson Hamiltonian on \(\ell^2(\mathbb Z^d)\) is the following \[ H_\omega\psi(x) = \sum_{|y-x|=1}\psi(y) + \lambda \omega(x)\psi(x), \] where \(\omega(x)\) are mutually independent random variables uniformly distributed in \([-1, 1]\). The number \(\lambda\) is called the disorder strength. Denote by \(\lambda_{\text{And}}\) the unique solution of the equation \[ \lambda_{\text{And}} =\mu_d e\ln \lambda_{\text{And}}, \] where \(\mu_d\) is the connectivitiy constant for self-avoiding walks on \(\mathbb Z^d\) and \(e\) is the base of the natural logarithm. The main result of the paper is that complete localization holds for \(H_\omega\) when \(\lambda>\lambda_{\text{And}}\). Note that this result was proposed first in [\textit{P. W. Anderson}, ``Absence of Diffusion in Certain Random Lattices'', Physical Review, 109(5), 1492--1505 (1958)].
