The authors study the mapping properties of a certain Bergman projection operator~\(S_t\): namely, the orthogonal projection onto entire holomorphic functions from the space of functions on \(\mathbb{C}^n\) that are square-integrable with respect to the Gaussian probability measure \(dv_t(z)\), which is Lebesgue measure weighted by the factor \((t/\pi)^n e^{-t| z| ^2}\). They also discuss the related integral operator~\(T_t\) whose kernel function is the absolute value of the Bergman kernel function. The main theorem states that if \(t\) and \(s\) are positive numbers, and \(p\geq1\), then the following three conditions are equivalent: (a)~the operator \(T_t\) is bounded on the space \(L^p(\mathbb{C}^n,dv_s)\), (b)~the operator \(S_t\) is bounded on the space \(L^p(\mathbb{C}^n,dv_s)\), and (c)~the parameters \(t\), \(s\), and \(p\) are related via \(pt=2s\). Moreover, when (c) holds, then \(\| S_t\| \leq \| T_t\| =2^n\), where the norms are taken in the space \(L^p(\mathbb{C}^n,dv_s)\). The main new contribution of the paper is the exact computation of the norm of the operator~\(T_t\). Although the equivalence of properties (a), (b), and~(c) is implicit in earlier work of \textit{S.~Janson, J.~Peetre}, and \textit{R.~Rochberg} [Rev. Mat. Iberoam. 3, No.~1, 61--138 (1987; Zbl 0704.47022)], the proof in the present paper is self-contained.
