Summary: We give some background of fractional Cauchy problems and correct an existing result [\textit{Y. Laskri} and \textit{N.-E. Tatar}, Comput. Math. Appl. 59, No. 3, 1266--1270 (2010; Zbl 1189.34013)] of Cauchy problem for the fractional differential inequality, and we also give an example to illustrate our statement.
