    Mapping techniques are used to investigate the chaotic character and stability near some resonant zones. Three-dimensional measure preserving mapping with ``slice-cutting'' and LCN's are used to study the system in detail. Stability of 2/1, 4/3, and 3/2 resonant zones increases successively according to this theoretical analysis. This investigation contributes to the hypothesis that parabolic orbit comets come from the Oort cloud. However, the role of the Kuiper belt is ignored in this study.
