Finite-time stability and control (Q2438808)

The booklet surveys results on finite-time stability for continuous-time and discrete-time systems. Both linear time-varying systems and hybrid systems whose continuous-time dynamics is linear time-varying are covered. The sets of admissible initial values and the trajectory tubes are assumed to be ellipsoidal or piecewise quadratic. Many examples are given. The authors also comment on how to numerically verify the hypotheses in their results.
