Connection formulae for Painlevé functions (Q1821237)

We present here recent results of global calculations which connect together several different local expansions of Painlevé functions. For a class of Painlevé V functions we present two-parameter formulae which connect the expansion at \(t=0\) with \(t\to +\infty\) and with \(t\to i\infty\). For a class of Painlevé III functions we also present two- parameter connection formulae for \(t=0\) with \(t\to +\infty\) and \(t\to i\infty\). For the general Painlevé II we present a one-parameter formula which connects \(t\to +\infty\) with \(t\to -\infty\).
