The paper under review concerns monomial ideal having cellular resolutions, as introduced by \textit{D. Bayer} and \textit{B. Sturmfels} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 502, 123--140 (1998; Zbl 0909.13011)]. The author constructs a shellable polytopal cell complex that supports a minimal free resolution of a Borel fixed ideal, which is Borel principal; this includes the case of powers of the homogeneous maximal ideal as a special case. The main result in this paper is to prove that any Borel fixed ideal \(I\) generated in one degree, there exists a polytopal cell complex that supports a minimal free resolution of \(I\). Let me recall that a monomial ideal \(I\subset K[x_1,\dots,x_n]\) with minimal set of generators \(G(I)\) is Borel fixed if for any \(m\in G(I)\) and every \(x_t\) that divides \(m\) the monomial \(\frac{m}{x_t} x_s\) belongs to \(I\) for any \(1\leq s<t\). \(I\) is said Borel principal if there exists a monomial \(m\in I\) such that \(I\) is the smallest monomial ideal containing \(m\), which is Borel fixed.
