Bounds for orthogonal polynomials for exponential weights (Q1298588)

The authors investigate orthogonal polynomials \(p_n(W^2,x)\) for exponential weights \(W^2=e^{-2Q}\), \(Q\) satisfies some smoothness conditions on a finite or infinite interval \(I\). Some estimates for density functions, Christoffel functions are given asymptotically. They also provide the Markov-Bernstein inequalities and the asymptotics for largest and smallest zeros of \(p_n(W^2,x)\). Their deepest result are bounds for orthogonal polynomials.
