In their previous work [Osaka J. Math. 56, No. 1, 75--90 (2019; Zbl 1417.57023)], the authors studied (unoriented) cobordism properties of the generalized Dold manifolds \(P(m, X, \sigma)\). These are orbit spaces of involutions on \(S^m\times X\) by \((v,x)\mapsto (-v,\sigma(x))\) for some smooth involution \(\sigma\) on \(X\) with nonempty fixed point set. In the current paper, they investigate some special cases in the equivariant category. Let \((X,J)\) be an almost complex manifold, and \(\sigma\) a complex conjugation whose induced tangential isomorphism \(T_x\sigma\) anti-commutes with that of \(J\) (i.e. \(J_{\sigma(x)} \circ T_x\sigma = - T_x\sigma\circ J_x\)). Suppose \(G= (\mathbb{Z}_2)^q\) acts smoothly on \(X\) and commutes with \(\sigma\). Using the action of the subgroup \(D \subset O(1)^{m+1}\subset O(m + 1)\) on the sphere \(S^m\), there is a diagonal action of \(G = D\times G\) on \(S^m\times X\), which descends to \(P(m, X, \sigma)\). The authors prove: \textbf{Theorem} Suppose that \(X^G\) is finite and that the isotropy representation at each \(G\)-fixed point is complex linear. Suppose also that there are at most finitely many pairs of antipodal points on \(S^m\) invariant under the action of \(D\). Then \(X\) equivariantly bounds (as a \(G\)-manifold) if and only if \(P (m, X, \sigma)\) equivariantly bounds (as a \(D\times G\)-manifold). The strategy is to use the fact that, for \(G=(\mathbb{Z}_2)^q\), the equivariant cobordism class is completely determined by the isotropy representation at the fixed point set [\textit{R. E. Stong}, Duke Math. J. 37, 779--785 (1970; Zbl 0204.23603)], and to reduce the problem to a careful analysis of the isotropy representations.
