Synchronization of chaotic systems has received significant attention in modem science. There are different types of synchronization known: mutual, master-slave, weak, strong, phase and generalized. Here, the authors consider the open-plus-closed-loop synchronization in master-slave systems, which uses the Taylor expansion for obtaining a coupling term. They consider 19 chaotic systems and for every master system, they provide the corresponding the slave system. The slave system depends on the coupling term which consists in the difference between some Hurwitz matrix and a Taylor expansion term. This difference is multiplied by the difference between the master and slave variables. Such an approach allows the convergence of the difference between the master and slave variables to zero. The main achievement of this work is that the coupling term consists of only one nonlinear component and it is sufficient for synchronization of chaotic processes in master and slave systems. The obtained result is validated by means of computer modeling.
