In analogy with the explicit definition of higher order Hochschild cohomology of a commutative algebra with coefficients in a module given by \textit{T. Pirashvili} [Ann. Sci. Éc. Norm. Supér. (4) 33, No. 2, 151--179 (2000; Zbl 0957.18004)], there is also a notion of higher order Hochschild cohomology of a commutative algebra (over a field), but with coefficients in a symmetric bimodule, given by \textit{G. Ginot} [C. R., Math., Acad. Sci. Paris 346, No. 1--2, 5--10 (2008; Zbl 1157.53042)]. In the main result of this article, the author constructs for a given pointed simplicial set and a multi-module (not necessarily symmetric, over the commutative algebra), a cosimplicial vector space. This is further used to define higher order Hochschild cohomology with coefficients in modules which can have multiple actions, as the cohomology of the cochain complex associated to the cosimplicial vector space. One application of higher order Hochschild cohomology in this context, for further studies, is to discover new connections to deformation theory of modules.
