The paper deals with Banach space model theory. The result stated below reflects the character of this paper. An infinitely dimensional Banach space X is said to be finitely representable in a Banach space Y (notation: \(X\leq_ fY)\) if for each finite dimensional subspace \(E\subset X\) and each positive real number \(\epsilon\) there exists a subspace \(F\subset Y\) such that \(d(E,F)\leq 1+\epsilon\) (d is the Banach-Mazur distance). The class of all Banach spaces Y for which \(X\leq_ fY\) and \(Y\leq_ fX\) is called the class of finite equivalence of X and is denoted \(X^ f\). A Banach space \(Z\in X^ f\) is said to be injective in \(X^ f\) if for every \(Y\in X^ f\) and for every isometric embedding \(Z\hookrightarrow Y\) there exists a projection P: \(Y\to Z\) with unit norm. The author proves that for every infinitely dimensional Banach space X there exist injective spaces in \(X^ f\).
