Let \(H(h)=-h^ 2\Delta +V\) where a real potential V satisfies \[ | D^{\alpha}V(x)| \leq C(1+| x|)^{-\epsilon -| \alpha |},\quad \epsilon >0\text{ for every }\alpha. \] The aim of the paper is to obtain uniform in h bounds on the decay on t of the solutions to the problem \[ ih\partial u/\partial t=H(h)u(t,h),\quad u(0,h)=f(h). \] An initial data f is supposed to belong to a compact disjoint from zero interval of H(h). In particular it is proven that for short-range (when \(\epsilon >1)\) non-trapping potentials and arbitrary \(s>0\) estimates \[ (1)\quad \| u(t,h)\|_{-s}\leq C(1+| t|)^{-s}\| f\|_ s \] hold. Here \(\| g\|_ s=\| g_ s\|_{L_ 2({\mathbb{R}}^ d)}\) with \(g_ s(x)=(1+x^ 2)^{s/2}g(x).\) Moreover, estimates (1) are to a certain extent necessary for q to be non-trapping. Similar results are established for long-range case.
