\textit{L. Olsen} [Adv. Math. 116, 82--195 (1995; Zbl 0841.28012)] considered multifractal Hausdorff measures and packing measures in order to analyze the multifractional structure of a given measure on a fractal set. He also established the density theorem for multifractional Hausdorff measures and packing measures. The first result in the present paper is a decomposition theorem for the regularities of multifractional Hausdorff measures and packing measures on \(\mathbb{R}^n\). By means of this decomposition theorem, a set can be splitted in its regular and irregular parts. Both parts can be analyzed separately and then can be recombined without affecting the density propertes. Finally the author extends Olsen's density theorem to any measurable set.
