The authors consider the neutral delay differential equation \[ (x(t)- P(t)x(t-\tau))'+ Q(t)x(t- \delta(t))=0,\quad t\geq t_ 0,\tag{1} \] where \(\tau> 0\), \(P,Q\), \(\delta\in C([t_ 0,\infty),\mathbb{R}^ +)\) and \(\lim_{t\to\infty} (t-\delta(t))= \infty\). The main result is Theorem 1, which gives necessary and sufficient conditions for the oscillation of all solutions of (1). Other theorems are some applications of Theorem 1.
