This paper deals with a second-order Schrödinger equation whose coefficient is a continuous function evaluated along a stationary ergodic process. More specifically, let \(\Omega\) be a compact metric space and \(\Phi: \Omega\times \mathbb{R}\to \Omega\), \(\xi\mapsto \xi\cdot t\) a continuous flow on \(\Omega\). The spectral problems for the self-adjoint operators \(L_\xi z=(-{d^2 \over dt^2}+ \Gamma_0(\xi \cdot t))z=Ez\), for \(\Gamma_0\in C(\Omega)\), are studied. Let \(A\) be the set of those energies for which the real projective flow admits an invariant linear measure with square integrable density function. On this set the directional derivative of the Floquet coefficient is calculated and the existence of a nontangential limit of the Weyl \(m\)-functions in the \(L^1\)-topology is proved.
