Regular linear systems governed by neutral FDEs (Q2493024)

A class of distributed parameter systems governed by neutral FDEs is considered. The authors give a detailed background on infinite-dimensional linear systems along with the corresponding bibliography. The main result of the paper is contained in section 3, where it is shown that linear control systems governed by neutral FDEs are reformulated as regular linear systems in the same way as for standard delay systems. The authors also prove a theorem asserting that under certain conditions the considered initial value problem for the corresponding neutral type system is well posed in the weak sense.
