    The author reproduces the solar theories of the Sūrya, Romaka, Paulisa, and Vasiṣṭha siddhāntas. By Fourier analysis he extracts the most likely values for the longitude of apogee and for the maximum equation in the cases where these parameters are not evident from the text.
