The paper under review proves two density results about the union of rational curves and elliptic curves on a ``very general'' \(K3\) surface. Here ``very general'' means outside the countable union of nowhere-dense subset in the analytic topology. The first result says that the union of rational curves is dense in the analytic topology on a very general \(K3\) surface. The second result says that the union of the images of the first jet of elliptic curves in \(\mathbb{P}(T_X)\) is dense in the analytic topology on a very general \(K3\) surface \(X\). The second result also has applications in the hyperbolic geometry of \(K3\) surfaces. The paper also contains the following result about density on an elliptic \(K3\): Let \(X \to \mathbb{P}^1\) be an elliptic \(K3\) surface. The union of rational curves is dense in the analytic topology if there is a rational curve \(C\) which is a non-torsion multisection of the fibration.
