Summary: In this manuscript, we utilize the concept of modified \(\omega\)-distance mapping, which was introduced by \textit{C. Alegre} and \textit{J. Marín} in [Topology Appl. 203, 32--41 (2016; Zbl 1334.54057)] to introduce the notions of \((\omega, \varphi)\)-Suzuki contraction and generalized \((\omega, \varphi)\)-Suzuki contraction. We employ these notions to prove some fixed point results. Moreover, we introduce an example to show the novelty of our results. Furthermore, we introduce some applications for our results.
