For the ordinary differential equation \((*)\) \(y''(x) + f(x)y(x) = 0\) four finite-difference models obtained by standard, Numerov, Mickens- Ramadhani, and combined Numerov-Mickens schemes are presented. In the case that \((*)\) is the normal form of the Bessel zero-th order differential equation \((f(x) = 1 + 1/4x^ 2)\), the asymptotic representations of the solutions of these models are calculated and compared to the discrete representation of the asymptotic solution of the differential equation.
