Overconvergent power series and conformal maps (Q1916795)

The author presents several refinements of the classical Ostrowski's results on overconvergence of power series. First, by means of conformal maps, he derives necessary conditions for a power series to admit an analytic continuation beyond a maximal domain in which overconvergence takes place. In a second part, he proves some new relations between the size of gaps in the coefficient sequence of an overconvergent power series and the size of domains of overconvergence.
