In this textbook, the readers find a clear explanation of the finite volume method (FVM) and algorithms used in the simulation of fluid flows, along with a detailed examination of the components needed for the development of a collocated unstructured pressure-based computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solver. A number (more than one hundred) of solved examples and exercises are also provided. Each chapter ends with a section denoted by ``Computational pointers'' that provides details on implementation issues for two codes. The first is a Matlab-based unstructured finite volume CFD educational code developed by the authors, while the second is OpenFOAM, an open source finite volume code written in C++ and capable of solving industrial type problems. The content of the book falls into 20 chapters that may be grouped under the following four categories: (i) Foundation (Chapter 2 through Chapter 7), (ii) Numerics (Chapter 8 through Chapter 14), (iii) Algorithms (Chapter 15 and Chapter 16), (iv) Application (Chapter 17 through Chapter 19), (v) Closing remarks (Chapter 20).
