Let \(M\subset {\mathbb C}^n\) be a CR-submanifold. For a given neighborhood \(U\) of a point \(p\in M\), the union of piecewise \(C^1\) curves in \(U\) passing through \(p\) whose tangent vector belongs to the complex tangent space on each \(C^1\) piece including endpoints is called the orbit and denoted by \(\Omega(p,U)\). The orbit \(\Omega(p,M)\) is called the global orbit and the germ \(\{\Omega(p,U)\}\) at \(p\) is called a local orbit. The authors prove the theorem: Let \(F\) be a \(C^1\) CR-mapping \(F\) between CR submanifolds of \(C^2\)-class with the same CR-dimension. If \(F\) is locally proper, then it sends local orbits onto local orbits and if \(F\) is proper and locally proper, it sends global orbits onto global orbits.
