In the micromagnetic model of magnetic nanowires, the evolution of the magnetization is described by the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert (LLG) equation. A problem of interest is the so-called reversal mode problem which refers to the wall motion in magnetic nanowires. It is necessary to obtain the solution of this equation to have a good understanding of the transverse modes, and the purpose of the present paper is exactly to solve the three-dimensional LLG-equation. It is shown that there exist traveling wave solutions which can be thought of as transverse walls.
