The paper considers the nonlinear equation \[ (1)\quad \gamma (1-\alpha \Delta)\dot u+\Delta^ 2u-[u+f,\quad v(u)+\theta]+\rho (\partial u/\partial x)=p(x,y) \] \[ u|_{\Omega}=(\partial u/\partial n)|_{\Omega}=0,\quad u(t=0)=u_ 0(x,y), \] where \(u=u(x,y;t)\), the functions f, \(\theta\), and p are defined, and the element \(v=v(u)\) is found as the solution of the problem \[ (2)\quad \Delta^ 2v+[u+2f,u]=0,\quad v|_{\omega}=(\partial v/\partial n)|_{\Omega}=0. \] The problem (1), (2) describes in the so-called quasistatical consideration nonlinear vibrations of shallow shells. In the present paper it is proven the uniqueness of the solutions of the problem (1), (2) and the asymptotical behaviour for \(t\to \infty\) is analyzed. It is shown that the system (1), (2) has a global attractor.
