Algorithmic implementation of a linguistic approach to analysis of experimental curves (Q1058315)

Methods of algorithmic implementation of separate steps in the linguistic analysis of experimental curves are studied. Methods of segmentation and formation of alphabets to describe complex curves are classified and typical processing algorithms are presented. The interaction between algorithms that implement separate steps of processing are analyzed, and difficulties in the practical utilization of each type of algorithm are discussed. Means of minimizing the shortcomings of the existing algorithmic scheme for the linguistic analysis of curves are examined.
