Let \( \Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^N\) be an open set, \( N>2\). The paper considers the Dirichlet problem \( u\in W^{1,p}_0(\Omega )\), \( -\operatorname{div} (b(x)|\nabla u|^{p-2}\nabla u)+\mu |u|^{p-2}u=-\operatorname{div} (|u|^{p-2}uE(x))+f(x)\) in \( \Omega \). It is supposed that \( p\in (1,N)\), \( \alpha \le b(x)\le \beta \) for some positive \( \alpha \) and \( \beta \), \( \mu >0\), \( |E|\in L^p(\Omega )\cap M_0^{N/(p-1)}(\Omega )\) and \( f\in L^1(\Omega )\cap L^m(\Omega )\) with \( m\ge (p^*)'\). Here \( p^*\) denotes the Sobolev conjugate of \( p\) and \( (p^* )'\) the Hölder conjugate of \(p^*\). The space \( M_0^q(\Omega )\) is some special subspace of \( L^q_{\mathrm{loc}}(\Omega )\). The authors prove the existence of a solution of the problem. Moreover, if \( f\ge 0\) then \( u\ge 0\) .
