Given a complete metric space \(X\), a closed subset \(C\subset X\), and a nonexpansive map \(T: C\to X\), the authors study the convergence of the inexact iterates of \(T\) to its fixed point set. In contrast to previous joint work with \textit{D. Butnariu} [Proceedings of the 7th international conference on fixed-point theory and its applications, Guanajuato, Mexico, 2005. Yokohama: Yokohama Publishers. 11--32 (2006; Zbl 1116.47052)], the errors are not required to be summable.
