It is known that there is no continuous projection from \(l^{\infty}\) onto \(c_{0}\). In this paper, the author considers analogues of this result. Let \(\mathcal{I}\) be an ideal in the power set of \(\mathbb{N}\). A real sequence \(\{x_{k}\}\) is \(\mathcal{I}\) convergent to \(0\) if \(\{k:x_{k}\notin U\}\in \mathcal{I}\) for every neighborhood \(U\) of \(0\). Let \(c_{0}(\mathcal{I)}\) be the space of all sequences which are \(\mathcal{I}\) convergent to \(0\). Then \(l^{\infty}\cap c_{0}(\mathcal{I)}\) is a closed subspace of \(l^{\infty}\) and, under conditions on the ideal \(\mathcal{I}\), \(l^{\infty}\cap c_{0}(\mathcal{I)}\) is not complemented in \(l^{\infty}\). As a corollary, the space of bounded sequences which are statistically convergent to \(0\) is not complemented in \(l^{\infty}\).
