Investigated is the Cauchy problem to the wave equation with a cubic nonlinearity $\square u(t,x)+u^3u(t,x) =0$, $(t,x)\in \mathbb{R}^{1+d}$, where $\square$ is the Laplace-Beltrami operator on Minkowski space, initial data are small. The evolution is restricted to the backward light-cone $C_T$. Given the initial data, one defines the notion of blowup time and, in case this is finite, $T$ will design the blowup time at the origin. For space dimensions $d\in (5,7,9,11,13)$ and $T_0>0$, there is proved that under certain assumptions on initial data, there exists constants $\delta>0$ and $M>0$ such that $T\in[T_0-\delta,T_0+\delta]$ and the solution $u:C_T\longrightarrow R$ of the stated Cauchy problem and its partial derivative $ \partial_t$ satisfy certain estimates. The authors believe the result might be true for all dimensions $d$.
