A semi-linear delayed diffusion-wave system with distributed order in time (Q2413283)

The authors propose a linear difference numerical scheme to solve distributed order fractional diffusion-wave equations in the presence of a non-linear delayed source function. They undertake the derivation of a linearized compact difference scheme together with a quantitative analysis of it. Employing the discrete energy method, unique solvability, convergence and stability of the process are proved. Numerical experiments are performed to illustrate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.
