Recall that the Minkowski question-mark function ?\((x)\) is a continuous monotonous function of a the unit interval. Its has a zero derivative everywhere it exists. The value of this derivative at the point \(x = [0; a_1, a_2,\dots, a_t,\dots]\) is closely related to the limit behaviour of the arithmetic mean \((a_1+a_2+\cdots+a_t)/t\). In this paper the author provides a sharp estimate to the following question: how small can be the quantity \(a_1 +a_2 +\cdots+a_t -\kappa_1t\) can be in case of ?\((x)=0\). (Here \(\kappa_1=2\log\big(\frac{1+\sqrt{5}}{2}\big)/\log 2=1.3884\ldots\))
