In this paper the equations govering the nonlinear dynamic stability for laminated cylindrical shells are studied. For solving these equations the variational method is used. It is snown that the factors of nonlinear large deflection, transverse shear, and longitudinal inertia force have a very important influence in the investigation of nonlinear dynamic stability of these shells.
