    The aim of this paper is to prove the Hölder continuity of solutions to the Dirichlet problem of a complex Monge-Ampère type equation. Let \(\Omega\subset \mathbb C^n\) be a bounded strictly pseudoconvex domain and let \(\rho\) be a \(\mathcal C^2\)-smooth strictly plurisubharmonic defining function for \(\Omega\). Assume that \(0\leq f\in L^1(\Omega)\) be such that there exist \(p>1\) and \(r>0\) with \((-\rho)^{-r}f\in L^p(\Omega)\). The main result of this note is the following theorem. For every \(\varphi\in \mathcal C^{0,2\alpha}(\partial \Omega)\), \(\varphi\leq 0\), \(0<\alpha\leq 1\), there exists a unique solution to the following Dirichlet problem \begin{align*}&u\in \operatorname{PSH}(\Omega)\cap \mathcal C^{0}(\bar \Omega),\\ &(-u)^r(dd^cu)^n=fdV_{2n}, \\ &u=\varphi \ \text { on } \ \partial \Omega,\end{align*} where \(dV_{2n}\) is the Lebesgue measure on \(\mathbb C^n\). Moreover, \(u\in \mathcal C^{0,\gamma}(\bar \Omega)\) for any \(0<\gamma<\min \left(\alpha, \frac {1}{2(1+rq+nq)}\right)\), where \(\frac 1p+\frac 1q=1\).
