\textit{W. B. Arveson} [Am. J. Math. 89, 578--642 (1967; Zbl 0183.42501)] introduced the notion of finite maximal subdiagonal subalgebras \(\mathcal{A}\) of a finite von Neumann algebra \(\mathcal{M}\) with faithful normal tracial state \(\tau\) as noncommutative analogues of weak\(^*\) Dirichlet algebras. \textit{M. Marsalli} and \textit{G. West} [J. Oper. Theory 40, No. 2, 339--355 (1998; Zbl 1001.46041)] studied the noncommutative \(H^p\)-spaces associated with such algebras. \textit{D. P. Blecher} and \textit{L. E. Labuschagne} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 355, No. 4, 1621--1646 (2003; Zbl 1026.46046)] proved that a tracial subalgebra \(\mathcal{A}\) has an \(L^{\infty}\)-factorization if and only if \(\mathcal{A}\) is a subdiagonal algebra. \textit{T. N. Bekjan} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 139, No. 3, 1121--1126 (2011; Zbl 1252.47084)] has shown that if a tracial subalgebra has an \(L^p\)-factorization for \(0<p<\infty\), then it is a subdiagonal algebra. In this paper, the authors show that \(\mathcal{A}\) has an \(L_E(\mathcal{M})\)-factorization if and only if \(\mathcal{A}\) is a subdiagonal algebra in which \(E\) is a symmetric quasi-Banach space.
