The authors study the Riemann problem for the two-dimensional compressible Euler system for the Chaplygin gas with the equation of state \(p\rho=-1\). The initial data are constant in three sectors. Characteristic curves, stream lines, and sonic curves are obtained numerically. Using analytical and numerical generalized characteristic methods, the supersonic domains are constructed, revealing eight different cases. It is shown that the delta-shock solution can appear. Its interaction with the simple wave is studied.
