The authors consider an impulsive differential system or a hybrid resetting system and an associated differential dynamics. Using the associated differential dynamics, the concept of contraction is defined for the resetting hybrid system. Using this notion, the authors introduce the idea of partial contraction using a particular solution of an auxiliary system which is contracting. They next give criteria for two impulsively couped oscillators to be exponentially synchronizable. Later they consider the question for networked impulsively coupled oscillators. They discuss their results using numerical illustrations.
