Die Koeffizienten \(A_\nu (x)\) und die rechte Seite \(f(x)\) der Differentialgleichung \[ L[y]\equiv y^{(n)} + A_1(x)y^{(n-1)}+\cdots+A_n(x)y = f(x) \tag{1} \] seien im Intervall \(\langle 0, 2\pi\rangle\) stetig; ferner sei \[ f(x)\sim\dfrac{a_0}{2} + \sum\limits_{m=1}^\infty (a_m\cos (mx) + b_m\sin (mx)) = \sum\limits_{m=0}^\infty v_m(x). \] Verf. beweist: Ist für \(m = 0, 1, 2,\ldots\) die Funktion \(u_m(x)\) ein Integral der Gleichung \(L[u_m] = v_m(x)\), so ist die Reihe \[ u_1(x)+u_2(x)+\cdots \tag{2} \] im Intervall \(\langle 0, 2\pi\rangle\) gleichmäßig konvergent und ihre Summe \(U(x)\) ein Integral der Gleichung (1). -- Zur Einführung wird der Sonderfall der Gleichung \[ u'' + A_1u' + A_2u = f(x) \] mit konstanten Koeffizienten \(A_1, A_2\) besprochen, wo unter gewissen Bedingungen die Reihe (2) die \textit{Fourier}reihe des Integrals \(U(x)\) ist.
