Let \(h_\kappa\) be a weight function of form \[ h_\kappa(x)=\prod_{v\in R^+}|\langle x, v\rangle|^{k_v},\quad k_v\geq 0, \] that is invariant under a reflection group, where \(R^+\) is the set of positive roots that defines the reflection group and \(k_v\) is a nonnegative multiplicity function defined on \(R^+\) whose values are equal whenever reflections in positive roots are conjugate. The main result of this paper is the following uncertainty principle on the unit sphere: for all invariant functions \(f\) that have unit norm and zero mean, \[ \min_{1\leq i\leq d}\int_{\mathbb{S}^d} (1-x_i)|f(x)|^2h_\kappa(x)^2\,d\sigma \int_{\mathbb{S}^d}|\nabla_0f(x)|^2h_\kappa(x)^2\,d\sigma\geq c, \] where \(\nabla_0\) is the spherical gradient. Furthermore, the corresponding uncertainty principles for weighted spaces on the unit ball and on the standard simplex are also established.
