The paper presents a sufficient condition and, when it is possible, a necessary and sufficient one, for the existence of Lyapunov functions in order to study the absolute stability of a control system whose dynamic equations are \[ dx/dt=(A+\sum^{m}_{i=1}k_ iu_ i(t)A_ i)x+\sum^{m_ 0}_{j=1}b_{oj}\cdot\phi_{oj}(\sigma_{oj}). \] It is assumed that the functions \(u_ i(t)\) and the nonlinearities \(\phi_{oj}(\sigma_{oj})\) satisfy the conditions of existence of an absolutely continuous solution of the system, and for any \(t\geq t_ 0\) the vector \(u=\| u_ i\|^ m_ 1\) belongs to a convex polyhedron and \(0\leq\phi_{oj}(\sigma_{oj})\cdot\sigma_{oj}\leq k_{oj}\sigma^ 2_{oj},\quad 0\leq k_{oj}<\infty,\quad lj=1,...,m_ 0.\) A numerical procedure for constructing Lyapunov functions is developed for this class of control systems and the structure of the absolute stability region is given too. The results of numerical experiments are also mentioned.
