It is known that if X and Y are Riesz spaces of functions on a separable space with measure than every positive operator T can be represented as sum \(T^ i+T^{cs}+T^ a\) where \(T^ i\) is an integral operator, \(T^{cs}\) a continually-singular operator and \(T^ a\) an atomic operator. In the paper the author gives generalizations of these and some other facts in the case of K-spaces and proves the existence of decomposition of the regular operator T: C(\(\Omega\))\(\to C(\Delta)\), where \(\Omega\) and \(\Delta\) are extremal unconnected compacts, in the sum of integral, singular and atomic type operators. By these three main disjunctive constituents of the Stone compact are defined.
