Enriched stable curves were introduced by \textit{L. Mainò} [Moduli space of enriched stable curves (PhD Thesis, Harvard University), (1998)] with the aim of parametrizing degenerations of smooth curves together with a line bundle over it to singular ones. The moduli space of enriched stable curves is constructed in loc. cit. by blowing up the moduli space of stable curves \(\bar M_g\). By the other hand, a moduli space for spin curves over stable curves, \(\bar S_g\), is constructed by \textit{M. Cornalba} in [Moduli of curves and theta-characteristics. Proceedings of the first college on Riemann surfaces held in Trieste, Italy, November 9-December 18, 1987. Teaneck, NJ: World Scientific Publishing Co. 560--589 (1989; Zbl 0800.14011)]. \(\bar S_g\) is a compactification of the moduli space of theta characteristics on smooth curves. In the paper under review the author introduces the notion of enriched spin curves for stable curves with two components. Similarly to the case of enriched stable curves, the author shows that a parameter space for enriched spin curves over stable curves with two components is obtained by blowing up the moduli space of spin curves over stable curves \(\bar S_g\).
