The author prove that monotonicity of the iterated functions is sufficient for the validity of a Chebyshev-type inequality of Sugeno integrals. In particular, the following result is derived: Suppose that \(f, g : [0,1] \to [0,\infty)\) and that \(\mu\) is a Lebesgue measure on \(\mathbb{R}\). If \(f,g\) are increasing (decreasing) functions, then the inequality \[ (S)\int _0^1 fg\,d\mu\geq \bigg((S)\int _0^1 f\,d\mu\bigg) \bigg((S)\int _0^1 g\,d\mu\bigg) \] holds true. This improves a recent result of \textit{A. Flores-Franulič} and \textit{H. Román-Flores} [Appl. Math. Comput. 190, No.~2, 1178--1184 (2007; Zbl 1129.26021)]. Examples were given to illustrate the obtained results.
