If \(\lambda\) is a perfect (in the sense of Köthe) sequence space and E is a Hausdorff locally convex space, define \(\lambda\) \(\{\) \(E\}\) to be the space of all E-valued sequences \((x_ n)_ n\) such that \((q(x_ n))_ n\) is in \(\lambda\) for every continuous seminorm q on E. These spaces were introduced by Pietsch and the study of the corresponding duality theory was done by Rosier and De Grande-De Kimpe. This paper can be considered as a continuation of these author's. We give certain barrelledness conditions in terms of the so called fundamentally \(\lambda\)-boundedness introduced by Rosier as a generalization of the property (B) of Pietsch. These conditions allow us to give a unified scheme for the proof of certain previously known results that were scattered in the literature. Besides, we improve some of Rosier's theorems and give new results in the frame of DF-spaces, distinguished Fréchet spaces and bornological spaces.
