The equation \((1)\quad x^{(n)}(t)=f(t,x(t),A\quad x(t))\) together with the right focal point boundary conditions (2) \(x^{(i)}(a)=A_ i\), \(0\leq i\leq k-1\); \(x^{(i)}(b)=B_ i\), \(k\leq i\leq n-1\), is considered, where \(n\geq 2\), \(1\leq k\leq n-1\), \(x(t)=[x(t)\), \(x'(t),...,x^{(n- 1)}(t)]\), A is a continuous operator and f is continuous in all of its arguments. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of solutions of (1), (2) are established. Conditions for the convergence of sequences generated by Picard's iterative method are also given. The considerations are illustrated by some examples.
